R&D Process Engineering Technician
The Industrial Maintenance Technician will troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning dairy equipment or systems to the satisfaction of the customer and is responsible for responding to service calls under the direction of the Service Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in all-around industrial maintenance.
Develop processes for module development projects.
Perform testing on samples with optical, electrical, or mechanical characterization tools and collect and summarize data.
Maintain a clean and productive area by ensuring that equipment and work area is cleaned after use.
Manage lab assets and ensure equipment is maintained, calibrated, and serviced on time.
Prepare documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOP), testing reports, and equipment operation manuals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
A Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science) is required.
Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in a lab is required.
Extensive experimental experience and skills in a laboratory environment is a must.
A high level of attention to process parameter details is required.
Experience with dispensing and screen/stencil printing tools is preferred.
Experience with handling polymeric materials, especially adhesives is preferred.
Experience with manufacturing PV modules is preferred.
Practical experience with laser systems either in manufacturing or laboratory environments is preferred.
Knowledge of I-V testing, optical metrology, DSC, and microscopy is preferred.
Capable of understanding and following verbal and written instructions.
Capable of handling individual work with minimal supervision.
Effectively handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
