Construction Admin

The Construction Administrative Assistant will primarily handle all administrative tasks and paperwork related to residential solar financing, installation and scheduling. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a strong customer service background and will have the ability to wear multiple hats while managing multiple tasks at the same time.

Project Location(s): Modesto, CA
Compensation: $16-$18/hr


  • Provide excellent customer service to solar customers, answering and finding the answers to common asked questions regarding job satisfaction, scheduling and other inquiries related to their installation
  • Develop and communicate solar installation schedules nationwide
  • Complete, submit and manage customer Net Metering Agreements with local utility, following up on status as needed
  • Submit permit packages online and/or in person to local building departments
  • Research new local State and Utility NEC/Electrical/Solar requirements to ensure compliance
  • Create owner’s manuals after each solar installation
  • Support the operations and sales teams with various tasks needed for the success and growth of the company


  • 2-5 years’ proven work experience in an administrative role, preferably in construction
  • Exceptional customer services skills over the phone and in person
  • Highly proficient in Excel and Word
  • Motivated/self-starter, with the ability to work independently
  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills
